The Blockchain space in Africa is one that very exciting as there are a lot of awesome projects that are coming up.

The just concluded Blockchain conference saw the attendance of many awesome Men and Women in the Blockchain space and the amazing Cryptotvplus was there to cover the event

Among the sessions In the event the one that caught my attention the most was that by Chris Ani where he talked about how the Nigerian Government can use Blockchain to Improve governance

Dubai is one the the Cities that have gone a long way in putting Blockchain Infrastructure In Place to help better the Life of it's citizens, and Nigeria can take a page from that to set up things that will better the lives of it's citizens

Another Interesting session was the panel where the STACH founder @ejemai talked about how the Blockchain can help solve Africa's FInancial Inclusion crisis . ALso on the Panel was Miss Ese from Uport , Kelechi Onwurah the CEO of Cryptsone and also BitMama

The EOS Fireside Chat with @akintunde was very engaging and educative. he is someone who has really taken out time to study EOS and it's inner workings, among all of the people who I have seen talk about EOS in Meetups he is the one who have given a indepth analysis of what @eos.io is all about

Akintunde is also a developer, he built the Steem Payout site which enables you to know your pending payout from your Steemit posts. The site also give you details of your estimated withdrawal time and also the person who gave you the highest upvote

Another presentation as the conference was that of Yellow Card which is a gift card for Cryptocurrency

Yellow Card aims to preserve the Decentralized nature of Cryptocurrencies , there are helping people cut through the rigorous KYC process of Cryptoexchanges and giving them direct access to fund their Crypto wallets via their Cards.

Yellow Card has retail stores all over the world and they also allows customers to fund their card to the tune of $8000 , all you have to do is to buy the card and redeem it on their website and your wallet will be funded with the Cryptocurrecy of your choice

To know more about Yellow Card you can watch this Youtube Video that explains their service indepth

The Blockchain Conference was an all round success, and I am very happy that I waited back In Lagos to attend it . There is something else Interesting that came up at the Conference , but I will be writing a full post of that later of what it is an how you can benefit from It

Thanks for reading

Excellent job brother......@ogochukwu

Until recently when I started blogging about real life applications of blockchain technology, I don't know a bit of blockchain potentials. Blockchain is the way to go and no amount of force will suppress an idea whose time has come. This is another awesome piece on the immense potentials of blockchain technology. Thanks for sharing and do have a happy Sunday

The ecosystem is expanding. I see the Nigerian government embracing the transformation blockchain is bringing to better the life of humans. I wish I was in this meet-up as well.

Thanks for sharing.

Can't wait for the full details of the conference.

When did the conference happened and is it open to all.

I will like to partake in such conferences in future.
Pls keep me informed.

The yellow card got my attention but I don't know about it. I don't have a full understanding of the YouTube video. Pls can you help me out in details.@ogochukwu

@godswill

Wow, a lot is really happening in Nigeria's crypto scene, that yellow card idea seems to me like the bomb too, what a superb idea. I think that yellow card deserves a separate post for itself, people gotta hear it.

All these giant strides, soon the world would come to the full realization that the blockchain is here to stay!
