Hive Community Giveaway Results

Thanks to all who participated in my end of year/start of year Hive Community Giveaway Contest

I want to start by saying thanks to all who entered correctly and/or upvoted, commented, and/or reshared the post. I appreciate all of you taking the time to help support the community and really wish there was more of this type of thing going on in the community in a better organized way. We're still in our infancy really though as a whole with crypto let alone Hive so I think in time we'll continue to grow. But I do feel these types of initiatives help people engage and to support one another.
Without further ado I'm going to announce the contest winners. I used a combo of randomizer where possible to select winners as well as just my choice for what I thought was most fair and best for the community in terms of delegations. I'm also going into this with trying to spread out the wealth in mind so I'm not going to have anyone win more than one prize if possible.

I'm sorry @oxidil & @stekene but I was torn on this and am deciding not to count screenshots for this as the instructions were: "To enter the contest please upvote and post your favorite picture that you took from this past year." and thus I was hoping for individuals to contribute pictures they took not screenshots or a stock image share.
@zincheck, @myeong and @bananofarmer were all eligible but I figured you'd rather have the more valuable 25HP delegation first and foremost so I took your names off the list.

Again not counting screenshots for this contest and people who are winning delegation. I'm sorry if this upsets a few people but I saw it as the only real fair way to do it. I'm actually going to start with deciding who wins out of this group first as it has the least amount of participants. So I can then remove their names from the pool for the Splinterlands giveaway.

Giveaway #3: I had a little bit of a hard time coming up with winners/results to the contests (it is my first time putting on one of these) so I wound up making an Excel spreadsheet with all of the entries. I think in the future I’ll use a specific word as entry so can use a tool like: https://hivetools.herokuapp.com/picker/ to make my task all that much easier. But alas live and learn. I also had a hard time deciding what I was going to use as an entry. When I created the contest, I was hoping for people to share the favorite picture that they took of the year, which a fair share did. But some unfortunately lazily or due to lack of understanding the instructions (perhaps language barrier?) just pasted in a screenshot or in one case a stock photo lol. So I was torn on whether or not to count those. I was also torn specifically for Giveaway #3 on the idea of delegating to someone who has higher rep than myself. This particular giveaway was supposed to be a specific initiative to help out minnows (which by my definition I really only got a few entries) so they’ll definitely be given said delegation. I can’t really justify delegating to someone with 2000+ HP when I have less than a 1000 myself. Ultimately, the way I’m choosing to delegate is looking at the entries and going by lowest HP for the entries.

I'm sorry @phaeton but your submission is a screenshot, which didn't really follow directions. In your case, I'll make an exception as you're lower rep and be giving you 15 delegation (I figure it's a good middle ground) on top of what I'm already giving out to the people who entered correctly.

I truly appreciate all of you who took the time to enter the different giveaways. Hopefully in the future you'll be able to pay it forward at some point to some others. :)
