Back to dreadlocks style - finally! And seems like back to creative mode

in #blog3 years ago

Hi, guys!
Seems like my creativity comes back and one of the hugest impact I got for it was that today I finally visited my dreadlocks master and got my hairstyle back. I was with no dreadlocks for almost four months (feels like for all my life), cause the quarantine and general situation in the country made it impossible for me to reach my salon where I make all this.

But today tables turned in a different way and I finally have dreadlocks again. More, than that, now I also have handcrafted beads to wear on my dreads, and they're really amazing! Made from wood and epoxy resin they're all individual, no two similar beads. I bought four of them, actually all that I liked in the salon store, than contacted the manufacturer and asked them if I can have more. And - I can:) So now I need to think about what design I would like to have.

Actually dreadlocks for me is a way to fight dismorphophobia as well. As all women I'd like to like myself in a mirror, and I can't accept the fact that my hair in not blue from nature lol:) But dying it is actually more expensive and much more harmful, than just wearing dreadlocks. So I stick with dreads, I have about 10 different sets of them, so I can change my appearance every month with no damage to my hair health. Awesome!
Also - guess, what? One wonderful artist from my city, Helena Phoenix, drew a portrait of my and my dog... In Tim Burton style! I really like it, that's exactly how I feel about myself. And my sweety, look how site she looks in this cartoony style:)

It's not the first time I've been drawn, but first one when an artist puts my dog next to me, and that's priceless.

My sweet Astro says "Hi" and wishes you good night:)
P.S. My computer, yep. Drive C died. Have to wait for the new one to arrive:(
See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
