Need More Parks, Playgrounds For Kids...

in #blog6 years ago

When I was a kid, there was no dearth of open fields, playgrounds. After school or on holidays, I'd never miss a day going there and playing soccer and sometimes cricket. Today's kids have become smarter. They use smartphones to play. Smartphones are their best friends, Cartoons on Tv are their favourite pass time. They are afraid of going out on the sun or in rains or in winter for playing as their parents don't feel safe outside and they are pushing their own children into the world of robots and mechanical life.

In my town, a months before there was a Park inaugurated by the local councillor and I do appreciate much more works like this. We do complain a lot that Government doesn't look into this aspect of child 's physical development. They need fresh air to breathe. They need space to run, to play, to do whatever they feel like. They need a place like this more...

I very much agree with you, the children need more open spaces to distract themselves, so take off a bit of the TV and the smart phone, which in excess are not good.

My daughter once got addicted to mobile games, now I manage to get rid of this and very rare she demands it and that too for a little time. I have got her admitted to dance school and I give her waste paper for tearing and writing whatever she feels like. I am just trying to make her engaged in some constructive works within my budget and my reach. I don't her to be addicted to the bad influence what TV and Smartphones bring.

Use of smartphone and not going out to play hinders the mental growth of children.

That's true
