Startup Journal - Week 1 - The beginning

in #blog6 years ago

A small introduction, as this is the start of my Startup journal.

Startup journal will be a lightweight weekly newsflash on what's going on in a young entrepreneurs mind. So bear with me, it will not be all about business and $$$.

Here's the quote that impressed me this week

Whenever you find yourself
on the side of the majority,
it is time to pause and reflect.

Startup journal without a startup question? No way!

Is starting a business a good idea today?

The best time to start a business is when the competitors are closing due to a recession.

Wait. Sounds wrong, right? Let me try this again.

The best time to start a business is when the economy is flourishing and everyone can get hands-on outside capital.

Based on condition, both are legit. Those two opinions can serve as great excuses of why not to start a business today.

I’m a great master of Procrastination, excelled basically for many years in this discipline and found my way out of it, with little tiny baby steps.

You will never be totally cured of Procrastinititis, but you can shift that notion, to issues that don’t harm your long-term goals.

Block everything out, sit down and focus on what you want to achieve in life. Take the smallest step toward your goal and make it a habit to keep it going.

And then still I procrastinated a little and viewed my favorite basketball team.

The Distraction of the week was the Bucks. Sure they lost their last 4, but the sun will rise for them again.

Could have been Trump, starting a Trade War with the world, but world catastrophy has to wait. :)

Thanks for stopping by. Appreciate comments.
