On the last night of that trip, we heard about Disney’s newest ship, the Treasure, set to debut in late 2024. The moment we learned it was themed around Aladdin—one of our favorite Disney movies—we didn’t hesitate. We booked immediately, hoping to relive the magic on another inaugural sailing.
The Long-Awaited Voyage
Fast forward to now, and we’ve finally set sail on the Disney Treasure for a full seven-night adventure! Unlike our first short cruise, this one gave us even more time to explore, relax, and experience the magic that Disney weaves into its ships.
One of the best parts? New ports of call! We love adding new destinations to our travel map, and this cruise took us to places we had never visited before. Exploring unfamiliar locations together makes every trip more special, and Disney always ensures that even the excursions feel immersive and exciting for families.
Making Time for Family Memories
The timing wasn’t exactly ideal with work and school schedules, but honestly, when is it ever? We’ve learned that sometimes you just have to make the time for these experiences because, in the end, the memories are what truly matter.
From the spectacular Aladdin-themed decor to the world-class dining, entertainment, and Disney’s signature service, this cruise was everything we hoped for—and then some. We were reminded, once again, why we love Disney cruises: they focus on bringing families together, creating magical moments, and making sure everyone—young or old—feels like a kid again.
