Back and Better Than Ever!

Hi everyone, I hope life finds you well!

I’ve longed to return to this platform and the strange lifestyle that goes on here, and I finally have the time.

Those of you who know me might remember me from rapchallenege, or even crypttalent, and if you don’t, well, nice to meet ya!

Life, as always, never stays the same. Three to five odd years ago, when I stopped using the platform during the chaos of the crypto verse, the world had not yet experienced a pandemic, and many of the crazy things that followed. Returning now actually gives me a nostalgic feeling, like returning to a time before dystopia!

It’s 2024, and I am now a husband, father, and homeowner! So I would have to admit that the last five years weren’t all lemons! Also, I am fully off grid, using solar for power, and I intend to create a highly efficient aquaculture/aquaponics system around my home. It should be interesting.

So what brought me back? The community here, of course! I know there’s a lot I can learn from the homesteader’s here. I’ve always admired their lifestyles and have always wanted to go on that journey too! Stick around long enough and you might even see me construct an Earth-Ship!

The concept of taking one’s home and turning it into a productive, life-sustaining machine has always been an appealing concept to me. While I enjoy the polished aesthetics of the modern home as much as anyone else, looking around at the world, there’s just too much waste.

The amount of waste that comes from maintaining a particular image and lifestyle has always put a damper on the concept of wealth, for me. Obviously I wanna drive a Tesla, but does it truly have to come at the expense of our future?

As annoying as it might be to suffer the keyboard warriors, they are correct when they cry that the older generations may have created serious future problems through innovation. But, at least now we know better! So there’s no excuse. We should all be living more sustainably.

Anyway, it’s nice to be back. I can’t wait to learn and share with the community here. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
