I feel you. Well said. I can't relate directly though, but I broke my humerus couple of years back. It didn't really stick out of my flesh so there wasn't any mark left. However, if you feel my left arm(the side that broke) , you could feel a slight difference in bone structure. I call it an internal and eternal scar. Scars on the inside here. Heh. So, I guess I relate that way. Never going to play football on the edge of higher ground for the rest of my life. Cheers!

I couldn't find words but thank you for sharing your story. I have 2 big scares on my body from accidents but deeper ones inside.
Those scares remind me every day that I "survived" and I am grateful for my life
I didn't reach the life level though but that's good. We all could use some kind of reminder in life. To always be grateful.
