My Internet Used Timeline + Plans

in #broadband7 years ago (edited)

I will share some of my internet device collections :)

My Used Internet Devices Year Timeline (I still remember those),

2010
Huawei E226: (Smart Bro - Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+)
-Modem with USB Cord
-Speed: 300kb/s download, 50kb/s upload (As of 2016)
-Status: Broken (Cannot detect SIM cards)
Remarks: I used to load Smartbro's UNLISURF before the FUP[1] thing. After FUP[2] implemented in 2012, I switched to Globe Tattoo's SUPERSURF with Hotspot Shield VPN for bypassing 800MB/day cap. In my high-school life, I'm the only person in my class who owns Netbook with internet access that helps both students and teachers to research interesting articles but the side effect on that is my grades getting lowered since I'm addicted to play some popular games back then. My first Huawei device I used.

2011
Huawei E586E: (Globe Tattoo - Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G Flash-Lite/Not LTE)
-Pocket WiFi (Connect up to 5 devices)
-With SD Card slot
-Speed: 576kb/s download, 80kb/s upload (As of 2017)
-Status: Battery Drained on 2015 (Usable only if plugged it to PC/Laptop)
Remarks: This is my longest broadband (ranged 2011-2016) which I used for some weird shit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) especially on Free Internet. I turned this broadband as Hotspot WiFi which I used for business that someone can connect thru internet for only ₱20 ($0.47) per day which I benefit fully due to free internet advantages but i'm not getting more profit since I need to open my PC for 24/7 and only fewer people who subscribed to me.

2012
*No device better than my used devices since the internet speed still stable.

2013
Huawei E357s-2: (Globe Tattoo - Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G Flash-Lite/Not LTE)
-USB Stick Modem
-Speed: 860kb/s download, 80kb/s upload (As of 2017)
-Status: OK
Remarks: My backup internet, also used to fix computer/laptop driver problems by downloding their generic driver files needed since I have service to reformat those.

Nokia Asha 202: (via USB Tethered)
-Mobile Phone w/ QWERTY keypad + Touchscreen access
-Speed: Unknown, speed test doens't work since it's very slow internet.
-Status: OK
Remarks: My first mobile device I used to connect thru internet, due to noticeable slow internet speed, I discontinued using it after a week trying to test the speed.

2014
*No device better than my used devices since the internet speed still stable.

2015
Huawei E5330Bs-2: (Globe Tattoo - Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G Flash-Lite/Not LTE)
-Pocket WiFi (Connect up to 10 devices)
-Speed: 478kb/s download, 80kb/s upload (As of 2017)
-Status: OK
Remarks: My Aunt's broadband, she gave it to me since I was moving from her place (I was live in my aunt's house since 2010-2015 after I obtained high school diploma in 2013 and I failed in my college course since it's not related to my interest and not available yet and I stopped studying in college since I have no financial support yet). Since it was slower than my Huawei E586E, I give it to my brother so he can access to internet for his college studies and also I teach him how to connect thru internet without spending money.

2016
ZTE MF65M: (Smart Bro - Not Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G Flash-Lite/Not LTE)
-Pocket WiFi (Connect up to 10 devices)
-Speed: 240kb/s download, 30kb/s upload (As of 2017)
-Status: Battery drains fast after not charged and used in few months
-Remarks: My aunt's 2nd broadband which she buy without my advices (which I'm expert at broadband) because her bad habit is buying something even not benefit to her, she also give this to me after I taught him how to connect her tablet to internet by using only micro-SIM. The first ZTE I used and also I don't know ZTE algorithm code.

Huawei E5330Cs-82: (Globe Tattoo - Not Openline)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G Flash-Lite/Not LTE)
-Pocket WiFi (Connect up to 10)
-Speed: 1.2mb/s download, 90kb/s upload (As of 2017)
-Status: OK
-Remarks: Better internet speed than my Huawei E586E and my old device now hassle to use since the battery drainage and used it on earlier 2017. I also can't unlock this device since it needs v4 algo (I have v1, v2 and v3 algo codes only).

2017
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T116): (via Hotspot/USB Tethered)
-2G, 3G
-Status: Dead lines, mild crushed.
-Remarks: Using only for opening mails (Yahoo, Gmail). I got this after my aunt (who answer all my finances in high school day) who died on February 2.

YOUWIN M022T: (Globe Tattoo - Not Openline - Currently Using)
-2G, 3G (WCDMA - HSDPA), 3.5G (HSPA+), 3.5G+ (4G+ LTE)
-Pocket WiFi (Connect up to 10 devices)
-Speed: 4.6mb/s download, 422kb/s upload (As of now)
-Status: OK (Used 1 month)
-Remarks: Overwhelming speed, 4x speed compared to Huawei E5330Cs-82. Only 4G network available in my place. First YOUWIN device I used.

My future internet plans

2018
PLDT Fibr (Wired) (PLDT stands for Philippine Long Distance Telephone)
-Still planning to get better internet connection to start my own business. Since I'm blacklisted on airdrops, I need to plan more getting funds because I need to rebuilt the house which is incidentally burned it on December 24, 2016 affected 4 houses and 10+ families including my family, video below (If you don't understand and wanting translations, I'll put english caption later),

Thanks to the man who burned it (that's his christmas gift) because of the jealousy of him about the gay who went to my sister's party in the beach in that day. If you ask where's he, he's already on jail since December 27, 2016. That's all for my internet plans, dream big and stay positive!
