Bangladesh will play one-day and Twenty-one series against Afghanistan in June this year. This series will be played against the Afghans in India's soil. The Afghan Cricket Board will use India as a 'home venue' because there is no scope for hosting a cricket match in Afghanistan.
BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said that due to the home series of Afghanistan, the schedule for the forthcoming series will be made by them. At the moment, the Afghanistan team is busy with the World Cup qualification. When it is finished, the index of the two countries will be sorted out in the discussion.
All the matches in the series will be held in India's Noida Cricket Stadium. On behalf of the Indian Board, the stadium in Uttar Pradesh has been recognized as the home venue of the Afghans in 2016. Bangladesh played the only bicameral series against Afghanistan in Mirpur in the same year. Tigers win the three-match ODI series in Mirpur in October 2016 in a 2-1 win.
