Bonjour Stemians!
I wrote about the sub zero shock in Zagreb few days ago and the way people in Croatia usually react about any chock in general. By nagging and self victimizing, more than often refusing to give a shot in taking another perceptions. Yesterday I chitchatted with a fellow college and found out about another shocking news, we can expect spring this weekend with temperature rising above 15 C (6o F)! I guess we feel these climate changes on week to week basis now. Last week was -16 C. Crazy!
Now, I'l try not to nag and wine much in this post about how possibly f****d up our future might be. Seriously people, spring in Zagreb is the most exciting, lively and and enjoyable period. Street festivals, funny crowds, binge drinking teenagers in city parks, super hyped young tourists looking for a crazy party place. Spring by all means.
On days like this, you really can not spend your time indoors. That's how you get the vibe. If you're tourist, you probably wouldn't even have the underlying unease caused by the bullshitness of our system, and really enjoy it to the full.

Now don't get surprised if you see someone mixing red wine and cola, it's the Balkans. We call it bambus (bamboo). You usually see teenagers consume it. On a days like this, you can allow your self to be a teenager for a moment.
Great company is vital. ;)
Little homemade sweats, made of sweet dalmatian red vine. Smooth.
"Medvedgrad (pronounced [mědʋedɡraːd]; Croatian for bear-fort; Hungarian: Medvevár) is a medieval fortified town located on the south slopes of Medvednica mountain, approximately halfway from the Croatian capital Zagreb to the mountain top Sljeme. For defensive purposes it was built on a hill, Mali Plazur, that is a spur of the main ridge of the mountain that overlooks the city. On a clear day the castle can be seen from far away, especially the high main tower."
Now this was a concert of Bambi molesters. Surf rock on the top of the mountain fortress. Cathartic!
The bridge over river Sava. You can capture that view if your night has left you restless, so you visited the infamous all night party places near the river.
Cheers to @buzzbeergeek, @nightscape, @lifestyler @esteemgag and @ssekulji for happy times :)
Hope you've enjoyed it. See you! :)
I like to have a good time in the winter to visit. Natural during the winter is very beautiful.
You're welcome any time!
Odličan post!
Hvala!
