Weeks later, we were back in the United Angels office to join the development program. It was terrific that Berkan was ready in the lobby just twenty minutes before the first seminar of the day.
“Berkan, man, good morning, I hope you're fine,” I said, smiling.
"What happened, dude?” he answered with his sleepy voice.
“You surprised me by your timing; what are you doing here so early?”
”I got up like a bullet," said Berkan happily.
“Did you name your relationship with Seçil last night?”.
“Seçil is a quality girl in every way, I'm still in a dream,” said Berkan.
“How did you pay for the bill?” I asked him.
“You are still talking about money. Am I incapable of buying my girlfriend a meal? I wanted to pay, but she insisted on paying.
”So, I didn't refuse her," said Berkan.
A few minutes later, Deniz joined us, and we reevaluated the happy news of Berkan's new girlfriend. Berkan said, “there is no need to talk about Seçil so much, where would she find the man who is smart as I am in this era, the place is full of ignorant and jackals.”
As I stood up to enter the hall where the seminar will be held. “Just don't be jealous,” said Berkan while following.
The Great Leader appeared on the stage to announce the beginning of the development program. This time he was wearing a long-tailed burgundy tuxedo from the bright fabric, and he had a cylinder hat of the same color. The thin-nosed shoes that remind me that Charlo wore looked like a reign boat.
“Dear young people, welcome, you have honored us with your presence. As you know, today we will have the first seminars of our development program. We tried to create a balanced mix of seminars and one-to-one coaching meetings. The best professionals will give you valuable information. On the one hand, I believe they have a lot to learn from you. Nowadays, technological developments have accelerated so much that young people can only follow these developments. Speaking in the face of such young people gives me great pleasure, and in a few minutes, I know that you'll get bored and start looking at your mobile computers. I would like to thank you and all of our sponsors who made this meeting possible, and I invite Evren Bey to the stage to make his presentation."
Evren, dressed in white trousers and a red blouse with buttons on it, appeared as a pretentious type. It was in my opinion that he was jumping like a yoyo where he stood while introducing itself, pointing to the energy that was ready to explode in at any moment.
“Dear friends, today as marketers, we are in a climate of impossibility. Everybody's busy all the time. Our messages come from one ear and go from the other. However, we want to deliver our services to consumers. We claim that they are beneficial. When the media were divided into a thousand pieces, our messages turned into raindrops that evaporated and disappeared before reaching the Earth. Due to intense competition, our budgets are cut off from year to year. The technological infrastructures we use are becoming increasingly complex. We have created such sophisticated systems that we have become prisoners of them. It is not clear if we are managing the marketing infrastructure or it is managing us. When we try to do everything, we can't do anything right. Feel free to be bold my friends. Worst case scenario, you'il be embarrassed. The spirit of the age commands us to get out of line.”
When a child's five-fold hologram appeared in front of him, Evren was surprised, and his words were interrupted. The child's hologram was so big that its head was almost worth the roof of the scene. The holographic child grasped Evren from his waist and raised him to his face, turned around and looked at him a little bit, and said, “an ordinary toy soldier, too boring.” Then the child disappeared, putting Evren back where he took him. Since the hologram is just light, they should have made Evren take off with invisible ropes hanging from above. I turned around and looked at my right side. No one seemed impressed by the show.
“It wasn't enough for me to be in a military outfit for the hologram boy to care about me, dear friends.; heroes are people who dare to be different, just like the one-legged toy soldier in the tale,” said Evren.
Berkan leaned in and said to my ear, “they think we're kids."
“The man gave the message very clear, we have to be able to differentiate our business,” I said.
