This is neither a thriller nor a lot of detective features but a mix of two genres. The story line is quite intertwined between the present and the past, between the metamorphosis of the murderer and the diary lines to understand the cause. The beauty of that book stands on the perspective of both sides to tell the story that readers both feel disgusted and feel pitiful 4MK murderer. Personally, I really like this metamorphosis character line. They are like a part of personality in each person, some people control it, some people overpower it. Read and feel!
