Taman ini terletak di tengah kota Banda Aceh dan disebut juga Taman Sari.
Dulunya bernama Taman Ghirah, merupakan tempat bermain keluarga raja.
Tempat ini sekarang sering diadakan berbagai acara dan kegiatan Kota Banda Aceh.
Umumnya masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh dan sekitarnya sering mengunjungi taman tersebut untuk berfoto-foto atau sebagai tempat anak-anak bermain di sore hari.
