Sapien Loop 3 – Part One

Hi Everyone,

Part One jumps straight back into the story where Sapien Loop 2 left off. Orcilla has woken up from her coma inside the wreckage of a crashed vehicle. She finds her sister, who has been badly injured. It does not take long for her to start recovering rapidly. They continue on their journey to find Flint, who they believe will take them back to the Downs Region. Instead, they encounter a dissident group from the underground world. It does not take them long to form an alliance to help each other.

Tiberius remains as the puppet leader for Maskameera and August. He is unhappy about this arrangement. He attempts to gain full control over Sapey. Through the Jennifer chip in Tiberius’ head, Maskameera and August are aware of his plans. They are able to easily thwart his efforts. However, they still need to keep him motivated. To satisfy him, he is granted the title of Emperor. Just like that, an Empire has emerged.

Orcilla helps Yassmay out of the wrecked vehicle. They continue their journey to find Flint. On the way, they encounter a different group of underground Linap.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 2: Underground Guests

Orcilla and Yassmay have dinner with the High Philosopher of the underground cult. It does not take them long to form a potentially mutually beneficial alliance.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 3: Learning New Ways to Fly

Julio, the mentor of the High Philosopher, takes Orcilla and Yassmay back to the surface to demonstrate their special winged suits.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 4: Lessons from the Loops

The next day, Orcilla and Yassmay join the High Philosopher for breakfast. The High Philosopher tells them the story of the loops taking them back to the very first loop and how everything began.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 5: Back to Downs

Cecil has arrived back in the Downs Region with Daily, who is badly injured from the crash. Miro is furious that he did not retrieve Orcilla and Yassmay’s bodies from the wreckage.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 6: My Hell

Demadrian wakes up in an alternative past. He is confronted by his own creations who attempt to terrorise and force him into madness.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 7: Waking Up to a New World

The frozen Alset woke up from their surgery and treatment. Most of their memories are restored, and they can remember each other again. They are also forced to confront a recent tragedy.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 8: The Funeral

It is the day of Jenna’s funeral. The Alset family and Benny express their sorrow for her loss. Tiberius uses the funeral to further incriminate his enemies.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 9: It’s Not What It Seems

Duffo orders Daily to be arrested based on Vulay’s confession at the funeral service. Yassmay and Eugene investigate Polly’s suspicious behaviour.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 10: Time to Sleuth

Eugene is determined to find the truth. He teams up with Yassmay to prove Daily’s innocence. Yassmay uses her mind voice device like a lie detector.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 11: He’s on Fire!

Tiberius believes he has identified all those who are controlling him through Jennifer. He plans to capture and eliminate them in one swoop, thus freeing him from their control.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 12: The Bounce Back

Tiberius is devastated after his attempts to free himself from Maskameera, August, and Lily fail miserably. Maskameera visits him in an attempt to raise his spirits and give him something that will keep him motivated. Tiberius is able to persuade her to push for him to be declared Emperor of Sapey.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 13: Behind the Scenes

Eugene continues his investigation. He interviews Lily to find out more about Polly and Jennifer. Flint visits the cult’s underground city to retrieve Orcilla and Yassmay.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 14: The Coronation

Tiberius is to be crowned Sapey’s first Emperor. The coronation is a huge event, attracting all in Sapey. The official crowning occurs in the House of Divine Knowledge temple. Tiberius ends the coronation with a controversial announcement that infuriates Maskameera. While everyone is distracted by the coronation, the Hat Lady attempts to rescue Demadrian.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 15: Bringing the Food

Team foodies are introduced. Their job is to bring food to the West Camp. However, they encounter several problems that hinder their progress. Luckily, they make a new friend who is willing to help them.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 16: Fooling Me Fooling You

The Hat Lady was captured while rescuing Demadrian. Tiberius confronts her, but she uses this opportunity to escape. Tiberius calls an emergency meeting to discuss his security concerns. He also uses this meeting to create his executive council.

Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 17: Friends Not Food

The executive council meets to discuss amending existing laws. They are in agreement regarding the first few law changes, but arguments breakout out over the final law, which had been made by Eugene after the fall of Sapey. This creates a rift between Maskameera and Colin.

The Sapien Loop Series

I am writing a trilogy of books titled Sapien Loop. The first in the series is Sapien Loop: End of an Era and the second is Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time. I published both of these books as ebooks on Amazon, and I have posted completed chapters to my @captainhive account. I anticipate publishing the third book in early 2027. I expect to title this book Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide.

Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: End of an Era

This story is based on the fictional planet Sapia and its sole country, Sapey. Sapey is portrayed as a form of utopia for all its citizens. No poverty. No war. Almost no crime. Opportunities for all.

This was enough for most citizens, but not all. In one of the small regions, some of the citizens had become discontent. They felt something important was missing in their lives. Their discontent did not go unnoticed. Some of the Sapey elite wanted to weaponise this discontent to gain more power. This created more chaos than they anticipated. This led to further widespread social unrest.

On top of the chaos, ambition and greed provoked another enemy. This enemy was on a mission to settle both new and old scores.

Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time

This story is based six years after the original story. The Downs Region is still suffering from a serious health crisis caused by the contaminated water. The main characters are desperately trying to find a cure for the illness that has been caused by the water.

One of the main characters has discovered frozen humanoids in hidden chambers. It appears they have been frozen for a long time. These chambers connect to a vast network of tunnels. While exploring the tunnels, one of the frozen humanoids disappears. It appears he has been stolen.

The story takes a step back in time to tell the story of the frozen humanoids. How and why were they frozen? This part of the story also explains the fall of ancient Sapey and the birth of the Sapiens. Can those from the past be able to coexist with those from the present?
