Part Two introduces the resistance to Tiberius and his handlers. The resistance aims to break up the leadership from within as well as turn the technicians and remaining Downs residents against Tiberius and his executive council.
The resistance starts with an alliance between the Hat Lady, Lily, and Louis. The Hat Lady reveals to Lily that Maskameera and August have been deceiving her. Lily agrees to join her effort to bring them down. Louis, who is also on the executive council, joins in their efforts.
Both Louis and Lily use the inside information they obtain from the council meetings against Tiberius. Lily also uses her access to Jennifer to sever Maskameera and August’s control over her and, therefore, Tiberius. In doing this, it both weakened the leadership and made Tiberius more dangerous.
After leaving the Downs Region, Maskameera kidnaps Walter. She takes him to the underground cult to trade with the High Philosopher. She does not receive the reception she expected. To get herself out of trouble, she informs Julio about a frozen Sentray egg that can be used as a cure for the High Philosopher.
Sapien Loop 3 - Part 2: The Resistance and Chapter 18: An Unholy Alliance
This chapter takes us back a few weeks earlier when the resistance was formed. Lily meets Louis for lunch in her penthouse suite. They have an expected visitor who reveals certain truths that frustrate Lily. The three of them agree to work together to bring down Tiberius and his backers.
Sapien Loop 3: Chapter 19: Breakfast at Lily’s
Lily invites Colin to breakfast. She reveals she knows that he is not who he claims to be. Colin shapeshifts into his Senyek form. They discuss the problems with Maskameera and decide what to do next.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 20: The Sapiods Have Evolved
Team foodies come across a group of Sapiods. Octavius wants to spend some time with them, and the others agree. Sapiods share their story through acting. Both Octavius and Walter reveal more about themselves.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 21: Making a Peace Deal
Orcilla and a group of followers met with Cecil to visit the camp the Downs workers were being kept in. Things do not go according to plan. Maskameera takes Walter to the underground cult, but things do not go according to plan for her.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 22: All Is Not What It Seems
The underground cult followers are grieving from Cecil’s ruthless attack. The West Camp is introduced. The Downs are being treated very badly. Cecil abuses one of the physically disabled Downs workers and almost kills him.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 23: Having Fun
Volo, Walter, Yassmay, and Orcilla go flying together using the advanced wing suites. Afterwards, Yassmay departed for the Downs Region, and Walter departed to rejoin team foodies. The West Tribe is introduced, and they receive an unexpected visitor.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 24: The Mask Slips
Tiberius visits the school. He wants to train the little miracles to fight. His visit is interrupted by an uninvited guest. Tiberius rushes to the hotel to call an urgent meeting. He describes a plan that shocks the others at the table.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 25: On the Run
Tiberius orders the arrest of Daily, Vulay, Denise, and Yassme. He wanted to make an example of them, but things do not go according to his plan.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 26: True Footage
Tiberius has ordered Louis to make a video for the Downs residents to reassure them that their family and friends were being treated well in the work camps and construction sites. However, additional footage reveals that his video might be distorting the truth.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 27: Better Days Ahead
Shamia, Flint, Frank, and Demadrian visit the underground cult to discuss a possible alliance. Team foodies arrive at the West Camp. To their shock, they find the food that has been collected has not been taken to the Downs workers. Octavius is determined to change how the camp is run.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 28: Jennifer and Polly
Lily meets with Polly and Jennifer. Lily uses her influence to make a deal with Jennifer that cuts Tiberius off from Maskameera. Such a move reduces the influence of one enemy just to make another one stronger.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 29: Time to Say Good Bye
Eugene is upset about a few things and decides to confront Tiberius. Tiberius has reached the end of his patience with Eugene. He decides he wants to punish him severely.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 30: The Children
The little miracles have gone missing. The technicians and the remaining Downs residents form search parties to find them. A dark secret is revealed about the imperial guards. This causes anger to grow towards Tiberius.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 31: The Chase
With Maskameera gone and Jennifer relinquishing her control over those who are chipped, Tiberius decides to eliminate August. This time Tiberius’ imperial guards are armed with infrared vision goggles to track him down.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 32: Reshuffling the Deck
Tiberius has grown paranoid and has decided he needs to trim his executive council of those he thinks might betray him.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 33: Making Plans
The followers have returned to the cult’s underground city with the Sentray egg. Orcilla wants to recreate Pardi’s 19CE serum, and Demadrian has more ambitious plans for it. Phillip has made his way to the West Camp, but Walter is not happy to see him.
Sapien Loop 3 - Chapter 34: The End is Nigh
Tiberius uses Henders to convince the technicians that terrorists and traitors have been trying to deceive them. The secret hideout of the resistance becomes at risk of being exposed.
The Sapien Loop Series
I am writing a trilogy of books titled Sapien Loop. The first in the series is Sapien Loop: End of an Era and the second is Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time. I published both of these books as ebooks on Amazon, and I have posted completed chapters to my @captainhive account. I anticipate publishing the third book in early 2027. I expect to title this book Sapien Loop: Worlds Collide.

Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: End of an Era
This story is based on the fictional planet Sapia and its sole country, Sapey. Sapey is portrayed as a form of utopia for all its citizens. No poverty. No war. Almost no crime. Opportunities for all.
This was enough for most citizens, but not all. In one of the small regions, some of the citizens had become discontent. They felt something important was missing in their lives. Their discontent did not go unnoticed. Some of the Sapey elite wanted to weaponise this discontent to gain more power. This created more chaos than they anticipated. This led to further widespread social unrest.
On top of the chaos, ambition and greed provoked another enemy. This enemy was on a mission to settle both new and old scores.
Brief Summary of Sapien Loop: Frozen in Time
This story is based six years after the original story. The Downs Region is still suffering from a serious health crisis caused by the contaminated water. The main characters are desperately trying to find a cure for the illness that has been caused by the water.
One of the main characters has discovered frozen humanoids in hidden chambers. It appears they have been frozen for a long time. These chambers connect to a vast network of tunnels. While exploring the tunnels, one of the frozen humanoids disappears. It appears he has been stolen.
The story takes a step back in time to tell the story of the frozen humanoids. How and why were they frozen? This part of the story also explains the fall of ancient Sapey and the birth of the Sapiens. Can those from the past be able to coexist with those from the present?
