You know; I used to think the preppers drank too much of the paranoia juice. But these days I feel like they are probably fairing better than most of us.
Self reliance seems to be the only way around all these crazy events.

We have been putting off buying a solar generator...so expensive! But nobody can depend on services provided by others anymore. We all have to be prepared. Of course, there is never a way to be really prepared for disaster. It's an illusion that we can keep ourselves 'safe'. We can try.
