Potting up a little late

Hi all,

I am a little behind as I didn't have enough light mix to fill 4 pots, I'd rather have potted these up last week but they seem OK! 👌 Maybe a little wilting

The extra water in the tray is because I had another weekend away.

Now nicely potted up:

Finally got around to emptying the soil out of the pot from the 1st grow, I've never seen such a small root system! I'm amazed it didn't fall over! Barely 1/4 of the pot.

I'm going to be vegging these plants much longer so expect the pots to be saturated with roots by the end of the grow!

This is definitely a great start to 2024! 🎉

I'll keep you posted, watch this space!

The transplant should do then some good. Just remember they won’t require any fertilizer until at least a few weeks from now. Happy growing!

Give b vitamin water removes any transplant stress. Micronutrient mix and silica right now. Great advras well!

I feel less stress now they're in pots just from moisture control and hopefully the air movement will help strengthen up the stalks!

Wow, that long before adding nutes!

So I put smooth rocks on top of the soil it helps give the plants more space as the roots will grow under the rocks. And it also breaks the digging of the water...

And covers the dirt from the light!

I keep meaning to cover the soil, I'll see what I can find 👍
I noticed the digging the first time I watered, I've been pouring from the edges to push dirt back.

Just noticed that the lights didn't switch off today! 😮 Will take a look at the timer tomorrow, stupid digital timers! 😡

Have a stack of timers ready for one to break..

Pie plate that's opaque or not able to let light through is great. Rocks are even better.

And back veg your plants. I top then and trim them back to let the root systems go crazy. Not sure if you can rewind back like 6 years of postings... But you will see my solid footballs. There is a balance. You don't want to waste soil and pots and bigger root systems mean bigger buds and higher yield.

And yeah always be on the timers as the photoperiod stress sucks.

Planning to veg these like crazy! I've got 2 SCROG nets ready to go.
I'm sure I can get a bag o gravel to cover the soil 👍👊

I had stacks of timers back in the day, mechanical, digital and computer controlled (X10) and contactors to protect them
