Marijuana is creating some legal opportunities in the United States, at least on the state level. The growing, possessing, and distribution of marijuana is still illegal according to the Federal Government which still insists in waging "the war on drugs".
There are many who are speculating that millions can be made in legalized marijuana. This could be closer than many think if a certain legal change at the federal level occurs.

Marijuana stocks are way overbought at the moment. We need a small correction first. It's all about future growth in marijuana business but with these high valuations marijuana companies are borrowing much from the future. Besides that there is not much moat in the sector because marijuana is a commodity business.
Marijuana can be ilegal in much places, it is no doubt that how laws and governments act is a big issue...However there are places where a very informal equilibrium exists - Jamaica for example - where Mariajuana is not legal, however you can smell
cigarettes burning anywhere.
Another importan issues is the genetic manipulation of the specie, I've heard/read about artificial kinds of marijuana (synthetic) that cause serious harm even death to those who use it, for instance "K2".
Several aspects should be controlled not only legalization.

I live in London UK where you can get arrested for the smallest amount I have been arrested myself a lot of times when I was younger I think it should be legal everywhere we should have the right to smoke cannabis it's a herb so it shouldn't be illegal alcohol and nicotine should be illegal
Why pot is still illegal is just beyond me.

very true marijuna will be legal very soon , because it is used not only for drugs , but also as medicines which has been tried and tested.
If marijuana became legal in the United States, the same formality does not help the government in any way the profits obtained by them, that is the reason why it is not legalized.

I think we still have 10 years before it becomes federally legal in the US. Still a long painful road to go!
