Anyone else notice this?
Cardano is ranked #4 on CoinRanker.net
... and is ranked #7 on CoinMarketCap.com
A simple study of the data shows the discrepancy revolves around the circulating supply.
- CoinMarketCap has the supply listed as: 25.9 billion ADA
- CoinRanker has it listed as: 31.1B billion ADA
The prices listed for each are roughly the same, at about 28 cents at time of writing.
Does it really matter which one is correct? Nah, not really. But if a journalist were writing an article about the top 5 in crypto based on total market cap right now, they'd get a totally different top 5 depending on which source they used.
I'm more of a CoinMarketCap guy myself, call me old-school.
