Segundo vino que pruebo de esta bodega, el primero fue "Paco el feo", y para mí es la confirmación de varios asuntos: En España hay muy buenos vinos, eso es innegable, pero hay muchísima vida más allá del Rioja Y el Ribera del Duero. Por otro lado la Garnacha ya no es considerada una uva ingobernable y excesivamente recia en boca, los enólogos están sacando todo el potencial de esta uva de sabor arrollador y obteniendo unos vinos realmente increíbles como este que os muestro hoy. Finalmente, esta uva a veces denostada por su alta graduación, muestra en este vino que se pueden obtener con ella caldos de menos de 14º.

Este vino se elabora con viñas viejas de más de 80 años. Lo cual le aporta mucho carácter.
Tiene una intensidad media, pero es realmente fácil de beber. Con un equilibrio espectacular. Aromas florales a rosas, ligeros cítricos y alguna especia como el clavo. En boca es realmente goloso te sacia, muchísimo sabor a fruta roja con toques balsámicos y un final con destellos ahumo.
Ideal para maridar con cualquier comida, en esta ocasión, nada mejor que un poco de embutido.
