✴️ WHY MOST PEOPLE CAN'T BUILD FOLLOWERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

"Never give up on your goals... the beginning is always the hardest and those who work hard will be greatly rewarded ~ Charles Fuchs.

Yoooo Steemians, It's been a few days since my last post... you guys know how I do it, I'm busy with that Hustle and Grind. 😎🤑

One of the hardest things to do on Social Media is to build a huge following... there are so many people who buys course and spends tons of time trying to figure this out but never do. 🙇🏼

So what is the "Secret" in building a huge following? It common sense and the answer is right in our faces. 😬

You see, building a Social Media following is one of the easiest things to do... so here are my simple steps that I everyday. 👨🏼‍💻

1. Transparency - You don't have to show people "Everything" but if a person displays his or her life on Social Media with lots of transparency... more and more people will think you are more of a genuine person and will want to follow your journey in life.

2. Consistency-  This is also important, people will want to see if you are committed to something. By posting almost everyday, you will get their attention on a daily bases. Don't start posting tons of times... people will get tired of you and will think you are just desperate for attention.

3. No Negativity - You know people are drawn to drama, disputes, and conflict. This may work to get people's attention in the short term but many will then realize that the consistent bad vibes from you affects them and will eventually don't wan't to deal with you anymore "unfollow" lol.

These are just simple steps guys in building a huge following on Social Media like a boss. 😎

Have an awesome Sunday Steemians! 💞

P.S. I finally finished my Steemit Shirt Website but I just heard recently that Steemit might come out with a new logo design, if that is the case I will hold on.

Do you guys know if this is true or not? 🤷🏼‍♂️

wich social media? i left all others, just on steemit now lol

How are you going to bring new people to steemit then lol

Being genuine is so important. That is why I always recommend real name accounts over personas and I tell folks to just be themselves. This way their tribe will find them.

Want to hear something funny... I heard about steemit in AUG 2016 and made an account @charlesfuchs and forgot all about it. Tried to login when I really seen what steemit was all about at the end of May, didn’t have my password and made @stackin 😂

Ha. @stackin is better. :)

LOL. That's hilarious. I agree with @joshuatucker, @stackin is better.

What would be sad and not funny at all is if you bought 100 bitcoin in Aug 2016 and lost the password......

Having fun helps too....

So many try to focus upon the money which makes them try to be something they arent.

When you are having fun, you cant help but to be yourself.

Totally agree! 🙌🏼

i agreed with you here !

You're so right man! Steem On!

Things are back to normal, look how fast the comments and upvotes are now :)

It helps to start out with a solid core group of like-minded people, and then work your way out from there.

Simple and Easy!

Thats how I do it :)

Charles @stackin I never thought that anyone would even care to Follow me on STEEMIT and now I am close to 1000 Followers. Not Bad for an OLD Guy that just posts on occasion. The one important thing that I do attempt to do is Comment everyday on other peoples postings. Showing UP everyday on STEEMIT is what gets you to Grow.

1000 is good man! Wait til new people start coming in steemit :)

1 2 3 in my blog only 22 mins old yo! haha

Clear and simple man, nice one!

Still took me about 30 minutes of mental focus to create this haha :)

No doubt - the message is clear though and that's what counts 👍🏾

Thanks for the wisdom! I don't know if Steemit is going to change the logo but it does look a little tired to me... but as always hoping for the best.

Hmmm, I heard that they were... hope I didn't dream about it lol

Great advice as ever dude.
Giving something of yourself is important to success however some of us can't give up our real names for many reasons. I give everything I can without giving away my identity due to my current employment. Steemit is my first outing into social media so it's still new to me.

I will see where I can go with this great advice.

Straight to the moon lol :)

I think the consistency is the hardest part. With YouTube it is a ton of work to produce solid content, edit, upload, tag, make descriptions....etc. Then when the money to support yourself could be two years down the line on that it makes it tough for someone to put in the grind when bills are piling up.

Often the best people I see really make it there were people who were subsidized to some respect either by a spouse or they were a kid in high school living with their parents.

It's almost got to be like a 2 year + grind where the majority of your time is focused on social media.

That is the situation I really want to focus on because these huge followings are going to become more and more important as people's attention continues to gravitate away from traditional media and toward independent content creators online.

STEEM is going to be a very important element in that equation!

exactlyy..."Be what you are"..the best way to build followers. To compliment wud luv to dedicate the song....by Staple Singers

You say the truth when you the beging is always the hardest
we should also remember that a journey of thousand miles starts with just the first step
nice article you have here

That’s some major wisdom right there 😀

Transparency, Consistency friendly no sarcasm and No Negativity is the key I'm open minded person and I engage when or how I can weather it's important or not.

Hey Charles, your words of advice are very helpful to beginners like me! I’ve got 13 followers and will keep working hard to raise that!

You are an example to me. Be an inspiration for others . Refuse to give up and try your hardest; you never know who is watching. Your hard work and dedication could be the spark that was needed to light the dreams of those around you . I couldnt agree more.

@stackin,
I have too many interests to spend my time unwisely. And I am too "seasoned" to suffer fools.

So, believe me when I say this:

Connecting with you via your excellent posts is time well-spent.
And heyy advice taken

big congrats,

@richforever

You're right man,,,,,,,,,
This way their tribe will find them..........Thanks for sharing

It's important to giving something back xx for example if someone comment your picture, you should give soemthing back for that, like give a comment or like a picture or follow xx all the information you put down are really useful xxx I will follow you xx I like your posts

Most people give up on the last turn before success

Awesome article! I just started my own. It's about the journey of my life across the world! Check it out! Let me know what you think!

@stackin I think you left off one important point and it's something that you yourself do very well but I think forgot to mention. That's connecting with your audience, responding to comments, etc.

I remember a few months back when you were new on this platform and really building a buzz for yourself you were creating a ton of content and had a lot of people commenting on your stuff and I notice you still even with that high volume manage to upvote peoples comments, respond to comments, etc. Essentially you have a connection with your viewers/readers and I think that goes a long way.

I credit that to a lot of my growth on youtube in my early days. I would literally respond to EVERY comment whether it warranted a response or not and I think people appreciated that. I still try to do it but obviously at like 67k its harder to respond to every comment as opposed to when I had 5k or 10k.

Verry good tips, thanks!

To put it the other way, be yourself. Don't copy other people's posts. My latest strategy is to read other people's posts, upvote and leave a positive comment. By so doing I'm sowing a seed with the expectation of reaping a harvest one day.

Many people who have a good audience , have invested in their beginning. So basically investing money for advertising is also crucial !

Nicely explained great post :)

All good tips. I try to do that in my blogs. My favorite of these is to push at writing something everyday.

Great content man. I actually PM'ed you a long while ago on Facebook. But great tips tho. I really love seeing people with the same niche that I have and follow the lead of those who are ahead of me. Have a great day!

Awesome, you can try again but I get over 100+ messages a day 😂

You are absolutely right boss. I've been learning a lot from great leaders within Steemit. The most important points I can see are:

  • Transparency, Consistency and No Negativity...

Wait I think I'm quoting you :S. Well I guess it's not wrong if I quote the truth. I could also add: thinking out of the box. I feel amazed while watching members joining in and getting massive followers in just a few months. You are right while giving away so much free lessons. I hope every member may follow you closely ("stackin you") so they could get the best of your teachings. I really appreciate each and every one of your posts. STEEM ON.

I am trying to build a following on steemit.. it doesn't seem like I have that many active followers tho. Instagram and facebook was so much easier to build!! So if anyone reading my comment check out my stuff!! I am a random poster but it is always positive stuff....

Thanks as always @stackin. Your work on here is appreciated.

I would also add posting quality content.

People like to take shortcuts by posting garbage (ie. posting youtbe videos or links of other stuff). To me, I want someone who puts up quality content that means something. Anyone can put up youtube links.

Thanks for sharing this @stackin. It was really inspiring for I got know from this post that I had missed something and thanks to you I got it right now. I wish you will continue with this.
Good job✔️✔️

Great tips from one who obviously knows the "how to"! Thanks for sharing.

Hey thanks for the pro tips I like them all!
You need to be consistent with your posting for sure and its great you are promoting positive vibes! Being positive and staying away from drama is always the way to go in life and on social media!

1 and 2. Checked. 3 not really. Lol but i guess 3 will never be achieved because of 1 eheheheh ❤

I think the most important is consistency and to never give up. Someday you get nothing and the next one you gain 5 followers.

Steem on! Great edia

praise on the no negativity part. There seems to be alot of drama going on among a few whales.

I agree with you. Building followers on social media is really hard these days but at the same time it's also easy if someone is consistent and keep adding value to others life. It's actually a secret which rarely people understand.

The biggest hurdle which everyone has to face (or will have to face) is when they post an article or make a video on youtube then they expect tons of views. They want people go and read article / watch the video but in initial stage it doesn't happen so eventually newbies lose their little faith and give up. That is the single most reason why so many new blog sites start everyday and go offline just after a few months or an year or so...

You mentioned eye opening fact...

So you said exactly right and if someone follows your advise and have:

Transparency
Consistency
No Negativity

then he/she can really move the mountain.

Thanks for sharing, I love it.

Regardless of one getting all the attention he or she may need or want, staying real is one thing in life that none of us should every compromise on. I would rather stay unknown for a longer period of time, as compared to people knowing the existence of 'me' that doesn't really exist at all!

Be real.. stay honest. Everything else will just fall into place itself!

Thanks for the ideas and will go through them .

Yup, consistently contributing to the community with awesome content. People will appreciate it 😁

I saw a post from @Ned, with a big black spot on his shirt covering the new Steemit logo. Im sure it will be revealed very soon. You have done a great job building followers... I am happy to take your advice!.

HI. Albertus de Saad here. I have a pet rabbit that keeps telling me all his depressing life stories. Sometimes i just want to strangle him. But then i realise that if i do, I'll probably get a call from the SPCA, or worse, he might leave a blood stain on my carpet. It's a really nice carpet and I don't want to ruin it with filthy rabbit blood. This onetime I almost spilled some red wine on my carpet, but luckily i have lightning reflexes and i was able to catch it all with my mouth. My rabbit still has the video somewhere on his smartphone. So you know it's legit. Anyway, i just thought I'd share this story with you. I think it relates to your post. Enjoy and peace out homies.

Hey Charles, the world is full of people who are trying to be something they’re not. STEEM is full of original thinking meant to inspire, educate, entertain, and provoke. This is very helpful, and I’m going to follow you and start using it.

Great post keep up the good work also if you want you can follow me and comment on my post so that you can receive more up votes from me.

That’s not how I do things and that is the wrong way to do it 😏
