CP: Steem Rewards Information

Good Day Steemians, Can any of you smart folks point me to a comprehensive break down on how payments and rewards are allocated to users?

It would be very nice to know for research purposes and for explaining to others that I tell steem about, I always get stuck when they ask me where does the money get generated and how..

I have only recently joined and am excited about steem, I have read the
disgruntled users talk about the unfair gaps between users with money invested and what not but I'm not bothered about it. I just need a fast track guide on how to rise up the mula ranks quickly.

Any help is welcome. Also please follow me and I will be much help as I share good info.
