Sometimes the world feels very unreal, for all that keeps happening around and you wonder is this really life. Yesterday I binged watched the Jeffery Epstein files on Netflix, I felt very angry at him and at the same time I also felt angry at those girls who could not draw a line and willingly went into him. But then later on I thought, is my anger towards them justified? Sometimes the situation can become so helpless for some people. And then there are predators like him in the society who do not leave any chance to take advantage of other people's vulnerability.
What type of a human he was. I believe that people like him have lost their souls, because if they would have, they would not do such inhuman things. His death may always remain a mystery. After watching the documentary in the end, I felt that possibly he may have not died and staged it all. For people like him, it may be easy to do such things. After all money power speaks and he had contacts of all the possible influential people of the world. Or it is also very much possible that the same influential people may have got him killed. God only knows what is the truth behind all of this.
In a way good that a person like him is no more around else he would have continued doing his atrocious acts with underage children. In a society where the children must be protected, he left no chance to exploit them. And to think of it he was only full of lust who must have only kept thinking of sex all the time. Quiet a devil like trait I can say. We say that in the end justice is always served, but I feel that in that whole process the amount of damage that happens may sometimes become irreparable and even with the justice it may not help heal. It can become a life long scar.
Pedophile racket is big beyond imagination in every society. Even in common households. In our remand home there are so many underage girls who have been physically abused by their own family members and their parents even after having knowledge of it would not want to do anything because of the fear of shame that they may have to go through in the society. It does not only happen in backward class, rather I have seen it happening in rich people families also. As a teenager once, one of my relative tried to abuse me, but my dad had taught me about these things and I could save myself from him. He did not have too much guts so he made a try and when I tried to make a scene he immediately distanced out, and acted innocent, as if he was only trying to cuddle me in a warm family way.
A pervert is always around in the society. With him, it does not end. There are so many Jeffery Epstein's in the world, it's just that majority of them are operating under cover. Possibly this documentary will give courage to a lot of underage girls if they are facing any such situation to come out and speak and get such people behind bars.

It’s true that money and power can act like a shield, but documentaries like this at least strip away the glamour and show the monster underneath.
Indeed! Given the damaged done, I think any type of justice will be insufficient but I hope the broad exposure of what happened with Epstein will bring more awareness to how this things can be spotted/prevented. Human nature is very messy.
