His foster parents had taught Chiron all they knew how to do, and he was an old disciple. He was not like other centaurs who were only interested in drinking, debauchery, and robbery; he was kind and merciful, nor was he like the Gods; he took revenge on no one, cheated on no one, and destroyed nothing.
He began to teach, his range of knowledge was extremely great. He was engaged in healing, he was an herbalist, this art he taught Asclepius the God of healing and medicine, taught the art of war Iasson, Hercules and Achilles, raised a whole generation of Greek heroes, he led them into a cave where time stood still, and they came out already trained heroes, ready for all the tests and dangers that prepared them fate, Chiron taught Achilles play the Lyre, he is also attributed its invention. He loved art and poetry, practiced dance and gymnastics, ecology, was an oracle, alchemist, shaman, astrologer, it was he who created the first map of the starry sky so that Jasson, who set sail in search of the "golden fleece", could see the way by the stars. Chiron knew how to recognize each person's gifts and taught how to use them. His students came to him to discover their destiny and to discover their full potential. Chiron possessed chiromancy (Χείρων from the Greek for "hand") and hypnosis. On Mount Pelius Chiron founded a temple of healing, a patient who fell asleep in this temple had a dream that helped him determine the disease and how to cure it. The temple was also used for initiation. When with the help of hypnosis or light sleep, a person managed to bring back all the knowledge that he had in the past lives, then he was initiated into what would be in the future. So Chiron helped people find their purpose in life, and taught them how to communicate with their inner voice.
