He is my peace

I woke up today feeling joyous and peaceful as usual. This has been the order of things in my life since the breakout of the Covid-19 pandemic that has drove a good number of people around me into a state of fear, frenzy and stress. In spite of all these, I feel peace within and this inner confidence that I will be just fine. I feel protected and save.

As I was just pondering on my present state, the word of the Lord that talks of the fruits of the spirit just to came to my mind and I could only marvel at the awesomeness of this God. He is our peace, our help in times of trouble and no matter what happens, knowing he is by your side makes the difference. You cannot help but feel confident and untouchable.

So many people right now are in a state of panic which is quite understandable because when you look at it, Science which has always been their source for answers to their problems has failed once again. Science has failed to provide the answers they need in the current pandemic and has left them in a place of uncertainty about tomorrow.

But what amazes me is the reaction of some Christians though. They have allowed fear eat up every sense of hope and faith in God that they too are sore scared of tomorrow. It shouldn't be so. We must never let fear creep into our hearts and minds for the great one is by our side. Who or what then can I fear knowing Elohim is by my side?
No one and nothing for nothing is impossible with my God. Be of good cheer my brothers and Sisters. A light will soon shine in the darkness and in a flash, this whole thing will be over.
