Romans 8:28
We're not supposed to understand everything. The actual verse is:
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose."

Sometimes in life when we go through hardship we forget God and His word. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 said we should give thanks to God for all things in other words all what comes our way comes for our benefit. We just have to stay connected to God and Love Him whole hearted. Thanks for sharing
Amen
i agree with you @goodreads! in difficult times we tend to lose faith. In those trials we should hold God by his words. it is written. Isaiah 55:11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Amen
Great verse. All things work together for good indeed. Sometimes we may feel that God is not even around due to some difficulties. But He has assured us that He'll never leave us or forsake us. Just as though Joseph was taken as a slave, the Bible records that 'and the Lord was with him' we should always believe that He's with us too. Whether in good times or bad times
Amen
Sometimes, in the middle of difficult circumstances, it is hard to understand how this verse applies, but I have learned that it is true.
Its nice and valuable post. It has good lesson. Thanks for posting.
Amen!
God's ways are not our ways, we may not understand His purpose but definitely, He wants whats best for us.
You're a blessing @goodreads! :)
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
THE GOOD NEWS IS
I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me. (Psalm 57:2, ESV)
