God is always with us. In fact, the Bible says that, from the moment we invited Jesus into our hearts, He comes and dwells with us. Although He is with us every moment, His presence is manifested in our lives at different levels, depending on several factors.
One of these factors is the degree to which we let the Holy Spirit work in our lives the way He wants to. As we much as we let the Holy Spirit lead us and we do what He prompts us to do, even when we don't understand, His presence becomes more real to us.
Another factor is our decision to invite Him in the situations we are going through and expect Him to show up and work on our behalf. Sometimes we might think God is too "busy" to get involved in some situations or that the problems we have are too trivial to involve Jesus in them. The truth is that He wants to get involved and to help us through any situation we might go through, just like a father loves to help his child. And when we do invite Him and accept his Help, we sense and experience His presence at a higher level.
Probably one of the deepest levels to which we can experience God's presence in our lives comes when we praise and worship Him. When we worship God and delight in His presence, His presence becomes tangible. When we stop complaining about the problems and start rejoicing about the fact that we have a great and very good God, praising and loving Him, His presence manifests in our lives, in the place where we are.
We can also experience His presence when we read His Word, the Bible, with the sincere desire to become more like Him, when other people pray for us, when we listen to music that was inspired by the Holy Spirit, or when we listen to certain messages that were inspired by Him. The important thing is to never stop wanting and being hungry for His manifested presence in our lives. Don't be satisfied with just a little! There is always more of Him to be experienced, so we should never stop wanting His presence!
This is a powerful message!
