So I just logged into my new Steemit account this morning and I noticed a little icon saying "Human" next to my username.
I needed that reminder as I went to bed a bit late last night, and to be honest, I feel less than human this morning (yawn!).
But when I saw that little icon, it reminded me of this verse from Psalm 103 v 14
For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust
In His awesome power and His holiness, His omnipotence, as supreme King in His heavenly kingdom, as the Creator of heaven and earth, as God Almighty, as El Shaddai, He is mindful of our fraility, and treats us as tenderly as a father treats his child. He remembers we are human.
In all our failures, faults, our funny little ways, He keeps in mind our "human-ness" (yes, I know that isn't a proper word but it should be!).
We are so privileged to be His creation, to be made in His image, and His likeness, and to be so loved by Almighty God.
You were fearfully and wonderfully made (psalm 139), remember that just as you are, even when you fall and make a mistake, you were made to be YOU.
You are You-nique, and He smiled when He knit you together in your mother's womb and He saw you.
