Very well done grashopper !CTP

The best part of the first clip was the signage for the "Tonsorial Parlour" - great set up 🙂.

I remember the original Kung Fu and I think I might watch that, if I can find it somewhere. Last night a clip came up from Justified (I loved the original book) and I could feel myself being hooked into watching all the series 😂.

The Carradine brothers were interesting, my favourite with them was another Western, The Long Riders which had several sets of real life actor brothers as I remember. I watched it on a little black and white portable TV I had at the time, and the monochrome and sharpness of the image brought something extra to it.

Justified was pretty awesome. I haven't read any of the books, but I have wanted to start them. Looking at the breadth of work that Elmore Leonard has done, you can't really go wrong. I heard they are bringing Timothy Olyphant back for another Raylen Givens series. I will definitely be watching!

I never seen the old kung fu shows with David in them just clips from youtube. But I too grew up watching the (legend continues series).David and Chris Potter had good chemistry in it.For those who watched Lone Wolf McQuade they would recognize David from the last few scenes where David and Chuck face off in the ring. Both Daivd and Chunk have different styles of Kung Fu. As far as the new series of Kung fu with the female lead Nicky Chen.My wife and I have followed this series and found it entertaining also suspenseful.I look forward to see your posts on shows you grew up watching.

Thanks for all the awesome additional info! It is always great to interact with a fellow fan. All the great memories these shows bring back!

Oh no problem ;.I too love to interact with fellow tv'ers. The shows of the 80's and the decade also a whole was the best for our generation to grow up in.As a side note.Chris Potter went on to do a few movies and ended up doing a Canadian show for CBC called Heartland.I left a comment on your discord but it was never attended too fyi

Did it get rejected? I can only get private messages from people I am friends with.

There is a broken link on discord.Bernie labeled the link wrong .In stead of ( discord) it says (disrod).Which sends you to an unwarranted webpage. Thats on Bernie not on you.

This was one of my favorites. I was always fascinated by the opening scene where he walked through all the snakes. The power of the mind is an incredible thing if we learn how to use it.

For sure! He was always just so fluid and smooth, it really captivated me.

My nephew practices Kung Fu is a very elegant martial art, it requires precise, fast and strong movements, there is also the variety of slow movements without force that is more to let the energy flow.
For sure my nephew will watch the series

That is pretty sweet. Thanks for explaining the differences. I really appreciate that!

nostalgia ;)

I remember that show .

It was interesting how every show had the life lesson from the old master.

Then me and my friends would go out in the yard and see who had the better kung-fu.

We got pretty good at the leg sweep - one or two broken tail bones LOL

Haha, that is pretty funny. Yes, everything was tied up with a nugget of wisdom and a nice little bow at the end back then!

Oh man, classic show. As a kid I would fall asleep to Kung Fu every night, those clips brought back some memories. I can't imagine that first clip being shown today, the SJW's would go absolutely bonkers.

Yeah, for sure. I am thinking I might start a short series on different shows from when I was a kid.

I used to watch the Carradine show back in the 70s. With the limited channels we had it was pretty exotic stuff. There were Bruce Lee movies in the cinema, but I was too young for those.

A lot of those old shows seem so slow compared with modern stuff. Minutes could go by with not much happening, but now they are worried you will switch channels. Back then we didn't even have a remote control :)

!BEER

That is a good point about the speed of shows between then and now. Much more dialog I feel like. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I think I am going to start a little series on old shows that I loved when I was a kid.

Some get repeated here on the many channels we have now and the difference is really noticeable.
