While staying in Penang I came across a temple filled with fruit trees and burning incense, which was home to a variety of pit vipers. When I pointed out this beautiful yellow and green viper to my friend, he crouched down for a closer inspection. Because the viper sat perfectly still he decided that it must be fake, so casually threw his hand towards it and tapped it on the head. When the viper coiled back, hissing and puffing its body, my friend jumped out of his skin. The viper calmed down alot quicker than he did, and I was able to get close enough for a detailed shot.
