Let me introduce you to a great Steemian and a regular regular contributor to my daily 200 SBD 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge, an amazing photographer @bluebottlefilms. Let's give him some recognition and a shout out. In combination with the color challenge, it is a great place to highlight his photo skills and give his hard work some extended publicity and appreciation.

The last minutes of light on Danjugan Island. This island is a special place, it is one of the few Filipino islands that is near fully protected. The sunsets were an added bonus.

No worries @jpphotography, I knew I'd seen it posted in one of the photo comps, after a bit of a search I realised it's at @mibreit-photo. It's probably best that people know if their images are being reposted without being acknowledged so the authors can be flagged.
Kindly stop posting images that are completely irrelevant to the post! Most likely it is not even yours, neither it is properly sourced. Avoid this kind of behaviour before it hurts you!

Sunsets in the Philippines are the best @narchuk! Yeah, it's the island to the west of Negros about half way up. You'll have to check it out on your next dive adventure, the reefs there are beautiful!!

I like this island among all other island because of his beauty. The island is a famous for nesting ground of Philippine megapod or scrubfowl.

Wish they'd protect the whole Southeast Asian archipelago, the marine environments there are some of the greatest in the world- both in terms of biodiversity and beauty.
Totally agree @ascension, they are some of the most biodiverse places on the planet and are under increasing pressure. A network of marine reserves functioning across international boundaries would be a great step in the right direction but politically it would be very challenging to establish. Education is the key and we shouldn't give up just because something is difficult. :)
Yes unfortunately the political interests are often antagonistic to environmental concerns, something I had the misfortune of experiencing at my time at the UN. I personally like to think of tech advancement being the key to helping in such areas- maybe in a few decades we can massively reduce/reverse the negative impact that has afflicted these ecosystems and biomes. It's sad to think of species like the Hawksbill turtle (more East African but first animal that comes to mind) dying out :(
To be honest, the picture lacks pixels, it it noticable especially if u zoom in.
I don't know if it is device or rendering maybe you should and some filter or something like that. Otherwise it's great photo.
