I am still on this side of the grass. A week ago I wouldn't have bet on that. Gaining health and strength daily. Love this time of the year. Grass will grow like crazy for a month, then the hot season starts and It doesn't require any mowing the rest of the season. It's hard to mow this time of year because of the way the flowers are dispersed by rodents all over the yard in the most bizzare places. :) A friend came to spend a few weeks with me and is helping set up the drip lines in the gardens. Strawberries are starting to show blooms. I am glad to have the help. He knows how to run the chain saw, so we are clearing away some of the winter killed branches and limbs. A nice bonfire will be in order shortly. As my brain comes back, I'll be posting more. Thanks for coming by. :)

gorgeous!!!!!! what is color challenge? lol...i'd love to get in on this!!! it's my favorite thing to observe in nature. flowers, plants....and the beauty of all the colors!!!!!!! thanks @warpedweaver!!! :)

@kalemandra hosts daily colorchallenge. Monday- Red, Tuesday-Orange, Wednesday-Yellow, Thursday-Green, Friday-Blue, Saturday-Indigo, Sunday-Violet. Mention colorchallenge in tag. There are some amazing artists that share photos daily. I did dig some of the mystery plant @rawutah. Does the root ooze white substance if scarred? Have fun with the contest.

thanks so much for your response!!!! i'll see if i can jump in today and this week on the color challenge!!! i love it!!!! hmmm....nope...i've never seen any white ooze on the osha roots. or leaves. that may be something like angelica...or another relative...that enjoys lower altitudes. fascinating!!!!! please let me know if you learn more...as you dig into them.

I was hoping for osha, but I am thinking it isn't. The root was straight shaft. Guess it will remain a mystery plant for now. Have fun with the color challenge.

hmmmmm? a mystery indeed! i'm so intrigued! we posted for monday red!!!!! yeeeehawwwww! thank you!

i'll check out the tags and links above. ;)
