You brought up some valid points, though I don't know how one would stem that unless curbed by the users themselves. I wasn't aware there were so many posts by repeat authors on these platforms.

I think the rule changes on utopian served to advance the repeat authors. Don't get me wrong. I think the intention is headed in the right direction if quality was such an issue.

Like many people, I don't immediately jump to adopt tougher rules. I understand their importance though, and get over it. But when rules aren't very clear, it dissuades a newcomer from wanting to contribute.

Maybe it's just me and I'm not giving up by any means. But I bet others feel the same way about it too.
