I agree with this completely. There was a similar issue recently on noise.cash where spammers were flooding the platform to get free tips, it became rather annoying to be honest, especially for the original content creators. I don't get to spend a huge amount of time on Hive each day but I always tip when I find good posts and it's really just good manners to follow the rules, so I agree that people that don't bother to read and stick to the rules should get disqualified, that's absolutely fair.

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, good manners is what some people obviously lack. Actually, in that tipping challenge where invalid entries will be disqualified, the problem is that editing is now allowed (it´s one of the rules) so the invalid entry cannot be corrected. If editing was possible, people would abuse it and edit their guesses according to how the price of Hive is doing (it´s a tipping challenge where the participants guess the price of Hive) so I basically have no other choice anyway.

Hi Phortun, thanks so much for the reply. Yes, that makes absolute sense especially with regards to the price challenge. Gee, I really don't know if I would have the guts to guess on that, perhaps once I've been watching the markets for much longer I would take a guess lol.
I'm always quite careful about what I enter into challenges and I tend to keep the post open and the re-read the rules a few times before, during and after the challenge to make sure I cover my bases. Also, I have an absolutely horrific memory (I attribute some of this to depression and some of it to lack of sleep), so I have to either write notes or take screenshots of things to refer back to. In a way, it makes sure that I stick to the rules on posts and entries :)
