There are a bunch of areas where blockchain can make a huge difference in the world. Helping keep medical records in places where phones are plentiful but computers and hardwired internet are in short supply for example. Blockchain has so much potential to do good in the world, and the sad truth is that people mostly caring about it as a way to make a profit in cryptocurrency is holding it back.
First, thanks so much for the reward. I truly appreciate it. And for the question today, I'm not sure I completely understand it. But I believe here on Steemit, video needs to be worked on. I love including video in my posts, however, NO ONE has the time or patience to wait for a "Dlive" or "dtube" video to load up.(if they ever do load) I can't even get upvotes or comments when I post videos. And when I do get comments, it's generally about the fact they can't watch the video.....soooo, I'm going to do what I have NEVER wanted to do...make a YouTube account.😞 So I can upload videos there, and embed them in my posts, so my friends can easily watch them...with no wait. Thanks for listing my topic @bunnypuncher There are lot of SMT projects coming up from different sectors from Steemit blockchain. I'm sure integration of blockchain in every sector will speed up processing time and keeps transactions very transparent. Blockchain is making difference in everysector. But to be honest the difference is both positive and the negative one . positive one is enlisted on most of the conment out here but the negative one is it somehow encourage people to hide the black money in the form of some crypto cuz crypto is not made by government die to this government cant notice it. I believed most of the politicial who know about it have already convert the amount into white simply by buying crypto. Integrating blockchain into commerce (buying and selling of goods) will really make a very big difference. Imagine being able to buy goods in crypto and be able to check out key info about those you're ordering from. It will very cool

A few weeks ago, I borrowed money from a friend. I have repaid these with a fast crypto coin, directly into his wallet.

Application of blockchain technology to the banking sector will be very good. You can check your money at any time and even transfer with ease in the comfort of your home and at any time without any restrictions.
I want see block chain in financial sector.
The first thing that came to mind was governmental expenses. Of course it would by far help in the elimination of corruption as every transaction would be open enough for the world to see.
But...
I now thought again. Cryptos are limited in number. And the magnitude of government expenses and funds may just mean that five or ten countries would swallow up the whole cryptos available. So be it wouldn't work all that easily in practice.
Yes, there are many sectors that it would be seamlessly brought into but, I'm one of those with a rather old soul. I still like the feeling of raw cash/fiat in my hands.

I think blockchain tech. will change the way how the solar energy will be used. At the moment it looks like that when you are providing solar energy to an electricity company the latest becomes a retailer a set a margin on the price to send it to an end consumer which could be a direct neighbour of the actual provider.
With blockchain the intermediate would be eliminated and the energy could be directly sold from P2P.
Also in the medical sector it could make a lot of sense.

I think the most surprising use of the blockchain is the efficiency when it is applied to a sector, productivity has the opportunity to grow drastically and resources are usually better utilized. I don't think there is a sector that doesn't benefit from the blockchain. Our lifestyle, takes us to a steady search of efficiency, effectiveness and no complications, which is why inevitably all these sectors will direct their views to this technology.
