I hear ya! My first posts weren't that good but it was through different initiatives that I pulled up my socks and started putting more into my posts. I like this initiative to get recognition on some of are dead posts and your post definitely needs some recognition. It is a good post in my opinion and although I don't take the plant intelligence to such depths I know it is there but I don't classify them as a sentient being and feel they are more effected by the humans around them. Also I feel that our morality effects our environment and the plants within it. Low morality and you have a weakened, sickened environment.

Thank you for the feedback, @Porters. Without a doubt, plants are affected by the humans around them, then again, so are we humans. Our moods and experiences change based on who and what is around us, same as plants. This is actually one of the pieces of evidence supporting plant sentience. If they were not aware of their environment--the base definition of consciousness--then they would not be affected by the environment around them. :)
good point
