I love my logo but it worked better when the site was blue.
Do you have some graphic art talent? I've always been terrible at decorating.
My page needs an update. I love my blue whale, but I haven't been very happy with it ever since the color/logo change.
I need better banner art and maybe a better logo. I'm not super fussy, but I'd like something that looks a little more polished. I don't want to be unrecognizable though. So, it has to retain the whale art, maybe edited a bit or a change in color?
Does anyone remember Pimp My Space" from myspace.com. Someone should create some templates people can use.

Try to have a whale coming out of the water but the water on top of him be colorful. I think you need more color . Color always attracts eyes and always has a story behind it

They're not very bight, which I like, but I could up the color brightness or even change the colors if you want.

See if you like this. I can move the text or change the color of the water if you want it more aquamarine like the Steemit background instead of blue / gray.

Yea I sampled it from the steemit logo, what ya gonna do! I guess the thing that makes it suck is the gray behind it.

I can't help as I draw crooked stick figures. But a month or so ago I came across a newer account in the Pay it forward curation contest. Someone submitted her, and she is an amazing artist. Not sure if she could give you something cool and unique you would like, but maybe you could get @joyart to whip something up cool for you. Not sure if she will see my using her name though, as I didn't know until I found Steemworld you could see when mentioned.
Good luck, and it's cool you are looking to do this in house. Many talented amazing artists here.
Or, if you want something really unique and different you could also try @nonameslefttouse. I don't care for much in the way of art, and I like both of their work.

I think it's a good start, with a new logo then the changes and updates will start to feel but actually if I think the old logo is better and for me no need to replace because this logo is more make account @whatsup, more challenging and legendary
