Dance with you makes me feel over the moon

I know just yesterday I said "see ya next week" but, you have to understand me, I have this whole new artwork and I can´t wait to show it to you! Is about a new theme: love. I hardly ever draw about romance and if I do it doesn´t (always) mean that I am in love, this time I was just in the mood.

In my perspective, portraying love and enjoying it is the most certain decree of love in our life, it is about being aware that love appears in our life in different ways and, if we still do not have a partner to realize that "eros" love of the ancient Greeks, then we know that one day... the right person for us will arrive.

Very sentimental, huh? Let´s head to the painting now or else I am going to tell you all about my unrequited loves.

It is simple: two people burning up the dance floor, people which I presume are a couple or at least they are in love, and no, it is not the same. Why? In my point of view, a little inexperienced but enough observer, I get to see many times people who truly love each other cannot be together while there are couples who, without a pinch of true love, remain united, almost forced. I know that my position sounds traditional and old-fashioned but, despite being in the time of "be free to love whoever you want" there are still people who, for appearances or for lack of self-love, remain with those who do not make them happy: with who do not love. That is why I love this painting (both the photo by which it was inspired and my creation itself) because it reflects love, happiness and even fun. And love, at least for me, is to be happy and it is to fall in love with the soul of the other person, and conceive them beautiful just for being as they are.

With a certain platonic influence I shape my position, I know it shows, but that's how I see love; transcend physical attractiveness, and... dance together for hours and hours just like in today's painting! By that, I want to name this painting "Dancing through us", in honor of the song "Dancing through life" from one of my favorite musicals, The Wicked. However, you know I always take into consideration what you think about my artwork, so how would you name this little painting?

I made this tiny painting with the intention of practice my composition, dance positions slightly more difficult than the ones I´ve done before and most important of all: I wanted to boost my skills in capturing the feeling or emotion that the original photo has transmitted to me; love, happiness and fun. I think I´ve done it well.

As I said, this artwork is inspired by a photo, actually, is a recreation of an old photo that I saw one day in my Instagram... being honest, I don´t know the people in the photo so, if for some random reason in the universe you know the names of these people, could you put it in the comments and thus make a better tribute to this couple? Talking about anonymity, I can say that the fact that this couple was anonymus to me during the entire process of the painting helped me a lot on focusing in the moment, emotion and intention print in the original photo itself.
