How crypto changed my life!

It all started about 2 years ago, My position at my former job got eliminated company wide. I was offered to reapply for another position or take a severance package which would be 2 weeks of pay for every year worked, since I was almost 11 years in I decided to take the severance. I have 2 young children and both went to daycare so I basically chose to stay home with them and eliminate the cost of daycare. My wife and I are still young and we were going to a multi performance concert that included, "The chainsmokers and Halsey. I decided that we should take some molly since we'd be staying at a hotel close to the concert and my mom was taking the kids for the weekend. It was a lot harder to get than when I was younger! I'm 35 the wife is 30. So after asking a few people I knew had ways to get those types of things, nothing panned out. That's when I stumbled on to a site online. This site was like "eBay" but for all the illegal things and stuff like that. As you can guess it was the now defunct "Alphabay". I had found the section selling mdma and it was roughly $60 usd at that time (0.1 btc). The only problem was how do I get this "bitcoin"!!! So I went and searched online and found sellers that offer bitcoin for debit. It was localbitcoin.com I paid $160.00usd for 0.1 btc which was expensive at that time but, I had no clue! That started the bitcoin experience. I then found Coinbase and signed up. My first btc purchase on there was.. If I only knew more about btc then! So I ordered the mdma and it came and as described. Now on to more crypto. I started to hear more about "Dash". I then went online and found videos of how to exchange btc for dash. The video suggested poloniex to use as the site, I signed up and got into "alt coins" I did small trades here and there. ![IMG_3439.PNG] () Then I got locked out of my poloniex account with a message stating my state was restricted. Then I opened a Bittrex account. My next adventure would prove to be the best decision I've made yet, an ICO! But this ICO would be the thing that changed my life and my involvement in crypto! I will not name the ICO. So this is how it started...I saw a instagramer saying they may enter this ICO so I went and took a look. The start date for the ICO was a few weeks away, I figured what the hell I'll put 0.1 btc into it. Keep in mind this is about a year after me choosing to leave my job and I'm now reselling things on eBay to make income instead of dipping into savings. So 0.1 btc at this time is about $130.00usd. The date comes for the ICO start date and I deposit the btc. This ICO will last 30days, I check my dashboard and the deposit shows and I'm getting about 146 tokens. About a week later I check and I'm now getting 8000 tokens!!! Whoa ok ok the sale hasn't ended and audits need to be done I shouldn't get excited. I then check deposits and there was my btc deposit and multiple eth deposits! I didn't deposit that! So I go on the slack and ask the question, does each investor get their own unique address? The team replied with a yes. Hmmm what is going on!?! So I wait till the sale ends meanwhile one more deposit is made. I'm now getting 12,000 tokens for $130. Will I get them? Yes I will! I end up getting those deposited into my MEW wallet. The rate at ICO was around $1 after a month or so when it hit bigger exchanges it hit almost $4 I sold at $3. I am now fully involved in the crypto world and have almost all of that invested in crypto now!
