We held off for what we want to believe is an admirable amount of time, but alas, we finally broke down yesterday and bought some cryptokitties.
Using metamask to purchase and manage ownership was pretty quick and straightforward. We had already put some ETH into our metamask wallet prior to this, so purchasing the first two were easy. Then we decided we might as well go full on, and make some cryptokittens too. Each time you "make a kitten", you pay the gas cost and a birthing fee which comes to just under $10, so we transferred some more ETH over to the metamask wallet and made two kittens.
While there might be some return on investment on this later down the road, for now we're just looking at it as a bit of fun.

Yep, saw those Omega eggs, glad you caught that as well. I think with those released, they're probably finished with the alpha eggs. Hope you're able to secure the omega.
