Some of us aren't fans of the term "Crypto" in front of currency because it implies subversion to non technical people and makes the criminal gangs running our IRS and DEA nervous. Where I'm from most people still think crypto currency is for buying illegal stuff and hiding from the tax man and NOT something they'd want mixing with their blue chips and 401K's. Granted, I'm from a very small town.
In the world of linguistics, Digital Blockchain Assets or Blockchain Currency sounds more appealing in my opinion.
Most of the organizations that aren't running pump and dumps (hello super-weird pigeon-holed alt coins) are either services building up to support transparent commercially viable ultra-secure cross-blockchain networks, applications and universal currency units that will change the way the whole world exchanges currency, assets and communication. By referring to everything in this emerging arena as "crypto" coin or currency doesn't really define all the other players.
When I think of Stealthcoin or Monero I think cryptocurrency. Helix coinwasher and a few others fit that mold. That's the cryptocoin world now imho. Made for the dark web.
Thoughts or suggestions? (Besides move back to civilization)
