The crooks have to spoil things for everyone, and I don't mean the EU. The real criminals will keep using crypto anyway and just be sneakier about it. The rest of us will get tracked and probably hit with tax bills. If we rely on exchanges then we don't have much alternative. That last step of crypto <-> fiat is the tricky one. We need more places where you can pay directly with crypto.

Yeah you just know there will still be untraceable options for the rich elite and the criminals, it is the regular folks who will have every element of their lives tracked.
