Decred (DCR):
Decred is a coin crafted by some of the original bitcoin developers whose vision was aimed at decentralization of the cryptocurrency network to ensure that all miners and users are given the same amount of influence by encouraging its members to make the system better. it can be purchasednat BlueTrade.
It is worthy of note that Decred coin has moved up by 4,458.30% in the past few years.
Decred (DCR) was introduced in 25th April, 2017 and founded by Kake Ypcom-Piatt.
IOTA (MIOTA):
When IOTA coins first became available on Bitfinex, it had a record-breaking launch – and its market cap soared to $1.5 billion in one day. The team behind IOTA worked on it for two years before the launch, and invented full Proof of Stake through Nxt which was the first Blockchain 2.0 too. IOTA coins can be purchased on Bitfinex.

DigiByte (DGB):
Jared Tate introduced DigiByte coin which operates on the DigiByte Blockchain, and DigiBytes, the name of the cryptocurrency units. This blockchain was the first to ever fork from a single proof-of-work algorithm to multi-algorithm mining and can be loaded onto a debit card by using WirexApp.com. DigiBytes can be purchased through Sand hapeShift.

NEM (XEM):
New Economic Movement (NEM) is one out of the 34 cryptocurrencies which is powered by its own currency known as Nemcoin. Lon Wong developed NEM on 31st March, 2015 from the scratch. It is a new economy founded based on principles of decentralization, equality, freedom and solidarity, out of the realm of the current global power brokers not necessarily to beat Bitcoin. It has been doing its best based on current market trend.
It can be purchased through Poloniex.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH):
James Hilliard introduced Bit Cash on 1st August, 2017 with the goal of expanding the limitations of Bitcoin’s 1M global network storage maximum. It quickly jumped to the third-highest valued cryptocurrency, and owners of Bitcoin during the hard fork were gifted Bitcoin Cash equal to their Bitcoin holdings. Bitcoin Cash can be purchased through several exchanges such as evercoin.
Verge (XVG):
Verge used to be called Dogecoin Dark (DOGED) when it was by Dogedarkdev in 2014. DOGED was one of the very first completely anonymous cryptocurrencies then.
Dogecoin Dark rebranded as Verge in 2016, with XVG serving as its tokens and can be purchased on a lot of exchanges such as NovaExchange.
It was introduced by Dogedarkdev on 10th September, 2014
Are you not surprosed atthe number of cryptocurrencies that keep coming up on daily basis. You cant believe it, about 34 cryptocurrencies exist for now. Well, its a free world and an era of technology for that matter, as one makes one's bed so he lies on it.
