ICO Voting - Crowd Reviewed ICOs

There is an array of ICO review sites out there to research before investing in any project, making it difficult to establish which projects have the greatest potential for return. ICOvoting has come up with a slightly different approach to try and make it a level playing field for projects competing for attention.

The concept is simple, registered users on the website vote for their favourite project, and the projects with the most votes are featured more prominently at the top of the page. There are various ways to interact on the platform, including voting for a project, provide useful content related to current ICOs, propose a new ICO and more.

I can hear you say ‘Surely people will just vote for the top project’, and to some extent you may be right, but herein lies the catch; if the project you vote for is deemed unsuccessful, i.e. doesn’t reach it’s minimum financial goal (soft cap) or 20% of the target if soft cap is not specifically stated, then you get penalised for your vote, thereby incentivising users to vote for the most promising projects. Votes are replenished every 24 hours, so projects benefit from active users’ support.

Narrow down your search with the tag option on https://icovoting.com/

You can search for specific ICOs using the search bar provided, or use various tags to find different categories of ICO (financial/commerce/gambling etc.) that you may be interested in, a useful tool, especially when the volume of ICOs becomes too overwhelming to look through the whole website.

As the number of users on the site increases, the margin of error should naturally reduce and average scores attained by projects become more accurate. Find out more information on any ICO by clicking on the project and you will be taken to it’s individual page. Here you can find important links (such as the website/whitepaper etc.), ICO dates and bonuses, materials related to the project and feedback from other users (either simple comments or more detailed reviews).

There are additions that I would like to see added to the ICO pages on the site, such as social media links and a running total of funds raised (where available), but overall it is a decent resource for an investor.
