Rialto: an interesting idea worth investing in?

What is Rialto?

Well, Rialto is a trading bot platform which supposedly trades based on price differences between exchanges rather than volatility. I am sure you have noticed at some point that a cryptocurrency is cheaper on one exchange than another, well the Rialto bot will supposedly be able to buy cheap on one exchange and sell high on another. This, of course, is a hell of a lot safer than trading based on volatility but almost always results in lower potential profits (and losses) when done manually. Another major advantage to this model of trading is that it is, at least in principle, immune to dependence of a bullish market. If the entire market becomes bearish, the bot can still make profit based on differences in price, unlike other bots which unless monitored carefully can lead to losses if a sudden bearish market develops. Rialto is also tracking the wallets of people of interest (exchange wallets, famous traders etc...) and making trades based on activity on those wallet transactions. For example if a whale moves all his crypto from his private wallet to Bittrex, the bot can make predictions and sell before the whale has the chance to, which would mean selling near the peak and possibly buying back in at the bottom.

Now I know some of you might be thinking, "Uh Oh! Another supposed trading bot program" but I don't think we have to worry that Rialto is another Bitconnect, although it is too early to tell. No information has been released about how the platform will work or even in what way the platform will be accessed. Will the platform be an open source application to download? Or maybe a web site? Will you have to transfer funds to Rialto or will it work based on API keys? Will funds be locked away for a set amount of time or can funds be withdrawn at will? All of these are good questions with no answers right now (as far as I know).

So why are you telling us about this?

Well, there is a Rialto token out for us to purchase. It's an Ethereum based token that can currently only be purchased on EtherDelta for 51 cents. Now let me be clear, this one is a bit of a gamble, I believe this could be a great buy. Let me explain why:

For the sake of arguement, let's assume that Rialto becomes another suspicious HYIP which has no long term sustainability, which incedently I doubt will be the case. I think the platform is more likely to go down the route of no referral program, no coin lock-in period or any other nonsense. But let's asume the worst, look at the price of Bitconnect tokens now! They are over 100 USD! I am suggesting that buying now at 50 cents with the intention of selling when the platform is fully operational is a great idea. I don't think it is in anyway unreasonable to think the potential for $10 Rialto is not that far fetched at all.

Conclusion

This one is a risky one guys! The platform could easily lead nowhere and the coins could become worthless. But there is a lot of potential here too. I feel like the chance that this becomes a fully functioning system is actually pretty good. I certainly wouldn't recommend putting huge money on this unless you are willing to consider this a bet, similar to putting a lot on red in roulette. I do, however, think it's worth a little investment. I purchased a couple hundred tokens today and will see where it goes from here. I would recommend reading more about the project on their website!

Happy Investing
