Thank you for providing an update to the situation. It is scary to think how much value is just sitting in the Poloniex account. I hope this does not turn out like the old days where exchanges got caught just stealing from themselves… Not saying this is happing here, or that I even recall which exchanges did such a thing back in the day. It just alarming to start seeing issues like start to form.

I am also going assume by you resharing this information Poloniex has not come out and made a further statements. Most alarming indeed.
