With a good team and a big community i believe Vertcoin is one of the most underrated coins out there. So what is Vertcoin? Vertcoin is a fork from litecoin and the supply is 1:1 with litecoin (max supply is 84 million). So what is so special about Vertcoin? Except for the awesome and big community it does not have very many advantages over Litecoin but Litecoin is in my opinion not better than Vertcoin either and therefor i do not think Vertcoin is gonna lay low for too many more weeks. The one advantage i do however see in Vertcoin is that it is ASIC-resistent which means it cannot be mined by ASIC machines. Why it cannot be mined with ASIC is because of the the algorithm Lyra2rev2( which Vertcoin is mined on) makes it hard for todays ASIC to mine it efficiently or at all. Another thing Vertcoin has going for them is that there are vtc/usd exchanges coming in the soon future like Vertpig and Vertbase. So why not just go with Litecoin? The potential in Vertcoin is in my opinion way bigger. In the last 24h Vertcoin has had a 28% increase in value. So what do you guys think of Vertcoin?
