Credit Card Services - Interest Rate Scam ALERT.

Some dufass company is robo-calling cell phone numbers and using spoofing technology to mask calls. DO NOT engage with anyone offering to lower your credit card interest rates. Its a scam.

Knowing this was a scam, I played with the caller and went Gunny Sgt Hartman from Full Metal Jacket on one of these guys who called me and he said I was an idiot. Hardly. Do you know how hard it was for me to remember all his lines? lol

So I called the number back which came up on my phone as a local number and sure enough a person in Ohio Picked up. I explained in detail to her that her number is being used in a spoofing scam and to contact Verizon which she said she'd do.

The spoof numbers in order to mask where the calls are coming from. Tim said he was in Orlando Florida and when I demanded Tim for an address he said I was an idiot and hung up.

Now I did a blog post how to flip telemarketers. This is a case where I knew it was a scam so I didn't bother to fo forward to flip this individual but to the off position if you know what I mean.
