Smart Contract Offerings - Smart way to go?? Next Ethereum in your view?

Hello Steemians,

Have been busy and missed blogging, what a roller coaster ride it has been in last one week for Crypto market. Hopefully market correction is over for Crypto. Lets keep fingers crossed.

I have been noticing that there is more importance for Coins offering Smart Contract platform and it is very evident if you look at coinmarketcap. I personally do love Ethereum for what it offers technically and do see it has great future, it has already proven itself as second generation cryptocurrency and what a massive growth. Most of the ICO tokens today are on Ethereum blockchain platform. But of-course as it started growing continuously there are scalability issues in completing the transactions on time and some of the features missing within Ethereum. Neo(Chinese Ethereum) is making its progress and cannot be ignored at the same time as we can see few ICO's are already based on this platform.

As Technology corrects itself and starts offering better version, we do have lot of alternatives coming up for Ethereum and some of them have already made their way to top in Coinmarket cap. I might be missing the other great smartcontract coins, please do feel free to add it and I have majorly considered the top ones here.

• Cardano(ADA, in Byron stage and have lot of futuristic plans)
• Neo(previously Antshares)
• EOS(it is a token by itself but will be offering its own blockchain)
• Lisk(LSK, new rebranding expected on Feb 20 and good to keep a watch)
• Tron(TRX, currently a ERC20 token and planning to build its own blockchain early next quarter and majorly seen as content creation platform like steem for now)

Please do provide your comment on what do you think will really be the next Ethereum, Third Gen-Cryptocurrency. I am really looking forward to hear all your views. I will probably make a post based on the collective input that you all give.
